Regression

"Regression is a defence mechanism that causes a person to adopt certain behavioural traits from an earlier stage of development."

Within past childhood trauma, this means that in crisis we will go back to past negative behaviour we have learnt through childhood.

The lion program seeks to built and establish positive behaviour by learning coping skills and the ability to make informed decisions when in a crisis.

We define Crisis as being:

a time of intense difficulty or danger or

a time when a difficult or important decision must be made
